MJC allnurses 2020

Hi guys! I thought it would be a great idea to start a new thread for those of us who are planning on applying to Modesto Junior College RN program. It would be great if we would all share with how many points we are applying with, this would give us an idea to see what are our chances are on getting in the program. With all the new changes, it is hard to tell what the cutoff on the points will be. I will be retaking my TEAS and hoping to apply with maybe 80 points or so. Hopefully ?????

Agreed! at first I was like one hour and then I was like okay 2 will do because at the end of the day it in only temporary and once its over we can get jobs near home

Yes, I am a mother and wife and I wanted to try to find a balance for my family time as well. I am blessed to have a supportive life partner. I know there will be sacrifices for us all during the program, so if you don't already have one, I encourage you to build a support system to help encourage, uplift and motivate you. I replied on your post, but the message is for all.

Oh yes totally! that was the main reason I opened it up to 2 hours LOL I sent out the group chat to the support system and they all said yes we will make it work if we need to! they are great I have a great team and I am so thankful for that cuz it opened up quite a few more opportunities

Isn't that fantastic. It is great to have support. It opened more opportunity for me as well. Whatever program I get into, I am also going to try to establish/find a study group too.

I can’t find a forum for Hartnell. I haven’t heard anything yet. Have you? Also which email do we find out from? Personal or school

There doesn’t seem to be a forum. The website states the condo goal acceptance or denial will be sent out March 16th. I’m assuming the email that we applied with but I also logged into my Hartnell gmail in case they send it there cuz she I applied I didn’t have the email set up yet so I just used my personal gmail but when I submitted course to course it had my student Id number so I have access to both emails just in case.

how many students do they take did he say? I know you said basically 100 get the email but there is no way they take 100 students LOL. I’m assuming whoever doesn’t take their stuff in doesn’t get a spot but how many do they accept?

They take 100 students, 50 for Spring and 50 for fall. I’m assuming 80 are point based and 20 is lottery since they started doing that again. I know someone with 70 points got an email to submit documents this application period. If you go to the ADN page on mjc website it tells you too.

Hey there Cindy! after waiting anxiously awaiting all week I finally heard from Hartnell and have made it past phase one. Just wondering if you heard as well?

I applied and heard back from Hartnell too. I made it to the next phase as well
