Mississippi FNP vs ACNP

Hello, it has been told to me that, (currently or soon), to work in a hospital in MS, you would need to be an Acute care NP.. more than a FNP because of scope of practice issues. Does anyone have any experience with this, have you been told this or does anyone in another state have this type of restriction. I am considering a duel track program because I want to work in an ED and see all sorts of patients but I also know of many FNPs who work the ED and see just about everything...still wondering if the duel program is worth the effort and $$$. Thanks for any advice:)

Hey! Did you ever decide on which program to do? I am currently in the same dilemma!
