Missionary as an LVN or RN?

hi. i am a missionary for short term trips, planning to eventually move to africa permanently. i am looking into nursing schools, and was thinking about pursuing schooling as an lvn. it seems like most advise me to go for an rn, but considering my pursuit is not focused solely on making great money, i'm looking for some input as to what route is best, and some reasons why. i'd rather not do 4 years, but if it's truly worth it, than i may. please also tell me what schools are recommended and why in the orange county, california area.

I would advise RN not because of money differences but because you would have more education that could be used in your career. Also, you might have more options in where you work or the type of work you do. For instance, I went to central America to a country where they would practically let you do brain surgery with a butter knife. Then I went to another country that was strict about what a nurse can/cannot do legally. So an RN just has more options. That means you are more flexible and able to serve more people groups.
