Minimum GPA requirements. What does it mean?

"A minimum GPA of 3.0" is often listen on admissions criteria for NP schools. Does this mean that absolutely no class, especially a nursing class, should have a grade lower than a B? Or does it mean that it's okay to have a couple B-, C+ type grades as long as it's balanced out by numerous A, A-, B+ grades?

I'm an undergrad nursing student and I am simply asking out of curiosity. I have received two B- grades so far so I'd like to know if NP programs are out of the question. I'm asking on this thread because I'm sure you guys would know the answer! Thanks

Well, at face value, the term "GPA" has the word 'average' in there. You might want to get the real deal from the admissions people.
