Yes! I heard from admissions that early interview invitation invites should be going out in the next week or so. Good luck!
Good luck to you as well! Got my application in a couple of weeks ago!

So, Vandy is starting up their own CRNA program in Nashville and I'm worried Vanderbilt is going to kick out MTSA SRNAs doing clinicals there in favor of their own students. Wondering if anyone has any insights or has asked anyone at MTSA about this? A big part of the appeal of going to MTSA for me is doing clincals at vandy.

Does anyone know when they should be inviting people for interviews? I heard end of June. Is this accurate?

They could ask you to tell them about a sick/challenging patient. It's up to you to have your patient in mind and ready to talk about. You can steer the interview yourself but you must prepare. If you mention something, be prepared to be asked more about it. Know your normal lab values, protocols (protocols are v important!), any type of shock you might see with your patient, anything you need to look for or consider if something goes wrong say during a procedure. Any med you mention, know about how it works on a cellular level and why you would use it. Other questions I've heard they ask are how you have prepared financially/personally. What is your support system like, etc. Also I've heard they could ask you anything you mentioned in your essay. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your input. I think my biggest concern is what to expect and is 15mns enough time to actually sell myself to them.

For those who have gotten interviews, would you be willing share about you? Eg., GPA, unit you work in, CRRN certified or not, leadership positions/volunteer work etc. Thank you 🙂

I also received my interview invitation Tuesday. I have 2 and 1/2 years of ICU experience with 3 1/2 years of total nursing experience (the first years was Cardiac PCU). I have my CCRN along with my CMC, CSC, and TNCC. I have 40 hours of anesthesia shadowing experience and held a cardiac seminar for my church during heart health week. I do not have a lot of charge or leadership experience because I did a few travel assignments. MY GPA and Science GPA our both right around a 3.5. Sadly, I did not study for my GRE and did poorly, (292 with a 4.5 writing), and need to retake it LOL.
6 1/2 yrs nursing total, last 2 1/2 have been trauma ICU in level 1 facility. Science GPA 3.9, CCRN certified, charge and preceptor experience, volunteer work: foodbanks, animal shelters, nursing homes (some more recent, some from my teenage years), GRE 293 writing 4, 30 hours anesthesia shadowing experience
