Hello Everyone,
I have scheduled to take the Microbiology Exam offered by Excelsior College in mid-December. Micro is not an easy subject for me. Could everyone please offer me some tips on how to study for the exam? What study materials are helpful?
Greatly Appreciated!!!!!!!

I found Excelsior's practice exams to be very helpful.

I used Microbiology Demystified, stugygroup101 notes, Microbioligy for Dummies, and anything else along the lines of Micro for idiots that I could get my hands on.
Thank you both for replying. Do you guys think reading the textbook is helpful and effective?
Depends on you - do you usually retain what you read? Some people retain better with notetaking, audio, etc. I did use the text for more unfamiliar concepts.
I had to read and read and re-read just to retain even the slightest bit of information that I had no interest in. In those situations, I did a lot of word associations to link answers with questions.
Hey, what can I say? It worked ;-)
