Microbiology for California license

I need microbiology with a lab to get my California license. Can anyone recommend an online course with lab that was accepted by the California nursing board?

Don't you really mean you need microbiology with lab as a prerequisite.

Sorta surprised, apparently if you are a RN in like New Mexico, & wish to endorse to California, a prerequisite among others is microbiology with lab, even if you lis. In a state that did not require in......

a little strange anger as NCLEX is national test......

I doubt there is a 100% online microbio course that the CA BRN will accept. As another poster said, how can you do a micro lab online?

You will probably need to go to a local community college and take the course there. Perhaps they have a hybrid course where you can do most of the coursework online and just come in for the labs.

Some states apparently don't require microbio in their nursing school programs and/or to get licensure there. A lot of foreign programs don't either.

It's a good thing I was a biology major, 3.5yrs. Before going to nursing school.

I guess that is why I never noticed if Texas had such requirement.

I did use the all nurses search engine, while it was a bit difficult to find, some prior posters, did a hybrid course with a community college.
