Hello ! First time posting on here so not really sure how this works and I hope it posts. I'm currently going through my pre reqs. I have a 3.7 GPA and have done amazing in all my classes. I'm finishing this semester up right now with an A in A&P1. I made my schedule for next semester today and I am taking general microbiology, A&P2, statistics and developmental psych.... am I crazy? Is this even possible? I know I'm going to be extremely stressed and overwhelmed but I'm prepared. Has anyone done this and do you think I am making the right move? This is my last semester before transferring for the nursing program.

How loaded have your previous semesters been? What were you taking along with A&P1? Do you have a job or other commitments outside of school?
If it were me, I'd personally drop micro, and come back to it the following semester. Assuming these are your last classes you need, and you did wait to take micro, for simplicity during the semester would then take either stats or psych with micro, and then the other with a&p2.
I didn't find psych or stats to be terribly difficult but you don't want to burn yourself out by piling on two big science classes on top of them. I also though, have a lot of commitments besides school and require sleep sometimes. :) My school has a full separate semester for each anatomy and then physio, and I can't imagine being able to keep an A in anatomy while taking micro without my hair falling out from stress.
I know the temptation to plow through the last of the prereqs, but "slow and steady wins the race" has been my key to successfully being a competitive student and what I'd recommend to anyone asking about their prereq workload.
My previous semesters have all been full time, 4-5 classes. Currently with A&P1 I'm taking, intro to psych, English 102 and sociology. Thankfully I got my same psych teacher for developmental, she doesn't give any exams. Just at home projects so it makes it a much easier class than the rest!
And also I work part time, 25-30 hours a week, thankfully I can work on homework and studying while I'm at work which also makes things. Little easier.

Yes you're crazy lol. But you can do it. If you have an A in A&P and have a good grasp on the material and on study habits and time management, you shouldn't have an issue. A&P2 with microbiology and statistics is going to be tough!
Currently, I'm taking four classes and working full time. Next semester, I'm taking A&P2, Chem, Sociology and Nutrition. Time management will be key. I'm working now on organizing and simplifying my surroundings. I'm also eating better and exercising so that I have energy to do all of this. I started taking gingko biloba last semester and it has helped.
Just focus and manage your time well. Use your resources at school like your professors or the tutoring center. Look into making a scrum or kanban board. Organization is also key! Good luck!
Ahhh thank you!!!! What's gingko biloba??
Gingko Biloba is a supplement that helps focus and memory. It can also help with anxiety and has other benefits as well.

Can it be done? Of course, but sciences with labs means going to school 4 times a week just for those 2 classes. My school highly recommends (you even have to sign a waiver saying if you fail, it's on you because we told you not to) not taking 2 sciences in the same semester. I recommend splitting them up and this is coming from someone who got As in both and found the material not that difficult, but a LOT of info. Good luck!
Oh boy, okay thank you!

Developmental psych has been the most straightforward forward class I have taken so far. I think it will be busy but it is doable!! Best of luck!!
Thank you! I've contemplated back and forth and think I'm going to do it, I have 2 months to mentally prepare myself haha
Haha yes I am mentally preparing my self now for next semester. Not nearly as busy but I am going to be taking chemistry and A&P2 together. í ½í¹ƒ
