Has anyone ever attended this school for grad school? I am not finding out a lot of info regarding their grad school although I know several who attended for their BSN. Specifically their Adult Primary NP program?

Also wondering the same information! I'd hate to start an NP program just to find out its a nightmare. Does anyone know anyone in Spring Arbor's NP Programs? Thanks.

I have been accepted into their MSN Adult/Gerontology Program starting in January. I have heard great things about the school. I do not know anyone who graduated from the nursing program, but I do know a few people who attended the school and they all say they loved it. I chose this program because its online based. They have a 2 day residency prior to the start of the program so students can meet the instructors and their classmates that will be in their cohort. I also choose this school because it is a christian college. I have my 1st degree as well as my BSN both from private christian colleges, so I chose a school that was faith based. I dont know much about the overall program, but I'm going into this with the intention that I will learn all that I need to learn to become a successful Adult/Gero NP.

Our residency was during the program. I think we did provide feedback about changing it to the beginning to help more. The residency isn't required but there is one later on that involves practicing with adult models and learning skills. It is well known in Michigan for their RN to BSN programs. I am an atheist and I haven't had issues so far. It is faith based but so far it is not so faith based that I am scared.

I did meet one student who was in the adult-geri online and I met up with her for breakfast. It was a relief to talk to someone in the MSN program. I didn't initially put the school together with the RN to BSN program that a lot of people go through to be honest since I was going to an instate school at the time. I know at least 20 people who went to their RN to BSN program and it was extremely popular a few years ago when they had more in person satellite classes. My friend is scared to take her BSN online.

Lutheran school (Not sure which association, LCMS seems to be bigger in Michigan, but the others exist too). It's been around for a while I believe, not sure about it though.

I know they were really popular in Ohio because they had some satellite programs there for the RN to BSN programs that used to meet once or twice a week. I think they still do the off campus programs for people. My friend is scared to do online classes so she is going there for her RN to BSN.

So how is the program going?? I am in the middle of applying and I am really looking for some feedback on the MSN FNP program. Do you like it so far??

I am planning to attend the AGNP program, starting March, 2016. In the meantime, I have applied at other schools and am seeking as much information as possible about all of them. Spring Arbor certainly does not share a lot of details, which has me on alert. All of the online MSN programs are going to require a lot of self-direction and motivation, and that is what I am really getting as I investigate these programs.

yea I had been curious about SAU but the more questions I've asked and the more people I talk to the better I feel. I had so many questions that the admissions lady told me she would have the dean of nursing call me. And he did! He called me and chatted for about an hour and gave me his number to contact him again personally with any questions. I was very impressed and I feel very confident in their program. I've talked to a handful of students on here that are enrolled and say so far it's going smoothly. Program seems fair and affordable. Good luck making decisions! I know it's not easy!

I am very glad I made the choice to attend Spring Arbor. I attended the Residency which was 2 days the first week in Jan. I learned a lot about the school and the expectations of each of the online instructors. They were very personable and answered any questions that we had. I'm currently taking the first class of the program which is Moral Ethics. So far I am learning a lot and enjoying the online class. I love the pace of the program....We take 1 class every 7 weeks which works out good with having to work full time. Overall, the program is great and they definitely want every student to succeed.
