Macomb Community College - 2012 HESI

U.S.A. Michigan

Published

Well, another year means another time for more score updates. I am getting ready to take my HESI in a couple weeks to apply for the 2012 Nursing Program and I must say I am really beginning to get nervous! Thanks to their recent addition of HHSC-1040 (right before I was apply :banghead:) I am just curious how everyone did, and what was it like this year? I have no clue what to expect and I have been searching forever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am really not worried about the Math or Grammar sections. I'm more worried about the Vocabulary, Reading, and A&P section that they added. Any advice would be great. I already have the Evolve HESI book that I have been reviewing from for the past couple of months. I'm still just really nervous.

I don't have a HESI score yet, but my GPA to apply for the program is: 3.925.

Again, any advice would be grand!

Im looking forward to the meeting too!

Ill finally have soemthing to do, and find out what all I have got to get done!

katielynn88 - I called today and the women that I had talked to said something about she had just contacted 4 more alternates. I had thought I was pushing my luck already so I didn't ask anymore questions but I called the # on the alternate letter. I may go up there tomorrow and see if I can see where I am on the alternate list

I went to the south campus enrollment last night and after the ladies looked online for a long time, they seemed confused that they could see ranks, they finally told me I was #69. Now I'm wondering if they did it right. I'm thinking the old lady mixed up the numbers. As I figured it, my total points were 90.875 - and a person who had points of 91.6125 ranked as #79. So how would I have ranked higher with a lower score??? Confused! And they won't clarify over the phone now. I'm thinking I'd be more like #89. So irritating, I guess I can always go into the center enrollment the day of the meeting.

Thank you! It sounds like most of the people chosen took their spots, selfishly I was hoping that wasn't the case! Still trying to keep my hopes up though, at least until the meeting!

P.S. If you go up there and get any new information, please fill me in! :)

When I went in there, the lady had no idea what I was talking about (rank) and she had to call someone else who tried to walk her through the screen on the phone but to no avail I still didn't get my rank. I'm just waiting until orientation and hoping I can get it then.

Yay, 8 more days!

Don't worry I was hoping the same thing too. We will see there is still time fingers crossed. I will let you know if I hear anything else. Same goes for you if you hear anything too

Both of you guys are high up on the alt. list. So I have a feeling you will both hear good news soon!!!

Wigtona-I tried to pm you but it says the thing about 15 posts needed before access is granted.

I went to the enrollment office today and the women there didn't give me a whole lot of info but she did say that we would find out a whole lot at orientation

maybe we can meet somehow after the meeting for a few minutes? I've never been to the UC before, but maybe there is a drinking fountain or bush or common something we can meet by :) or I can be yelling out 'su85!'. jk

I have never been there before wigtona, but lets meet a couple mins after the meeting at the front door?

I had the score 91.1625 and they told me I was 79, maybe you are higher up and they told me the wrong thing, that would be nice for both of us to be higher up than what we were told or for you to at least not be lower down than what they said. I wonder what happened when you went and why you were higher than me with our scores being opposite, it seems weird to me as well. I want to start as early as possible, I already have all my requirements for graduation so I hope that moves me up a little bit! I Just want to get done with school and get a real job already!

A few of us should go out for lunch or something after the meeting, might as well get to know eachother before the program starts!

Sounds good su85!
