2011 Macomb Community College HESI and GPA scores for nursing program

U.S.A. Michigan

Published

I'm trying to get into the Macomb Community College Nursing program. I just took the HESI test and scored a 86.5%. I Also have a 4.0 GPA. What are my chances into getting into the program for 2011, since my HESI is still kind of low?

If anyone can relate please comment. Post scores so we can compare! Thanks for your thoughts:)

Just took mine too and I'm going to be applying with a 4.0 and a 93% on the Hesi.

I'm applying with a 92.7 on the test and a 3.67 GPA. Good luck to all of us.

I'll be applying and I have a 3.8 GPA and I got a 92.7 on the HESI.

I'm super nervous and I don't care if I'm last in, I'm just hoping for a spot!

Good Luck to everyone!

What was everyone's class average? (It posted a few days after you take the hesi on the evolve website). My class' average was 80%.

My class average was a 79! Good news to all of us that have posted so far!

Yeah. Hopefully more ppl will post. :D

Our class average for the HESI was 82

hello all. I got a 91.4% and a 4.0

Class average was 82%. Im soo nervous

Well I talked to a counselor and the last person that got in last year had a 3.4 GPA and a 92 on the HESI. Does anyone know how they weight it? I know its 50/50 but all of our scores are kind of similar, the low HESI scores pair with a high GPA and vice versa! I don't know how they average it to figure out our rank. Also, my friend that got in last year started in October and she had a 4.0 and an 89 on her HESi. Are there 3 or 4 start dates for the program?

This is what I've found on the boards on how to figure your total score:

Take your gpa (for the three classes) multiply that by 25 and divide by 2 - this is your gpa score

Take your HESI score and divide by 2 - this is your HESI Score

Add the two scores together

There are four start dates; August, October, January and March

You guys are amazing how do yall get 3.9s and stuff please someone give me some tips
