MICHIGAN ICU position in Detroit/Royal Oak/St. Claire Shores area

Hi all, I will be moving to St. Claire Shores area and want an ICU position, preferably a surgical ICU, or combined unit. I'm trying to find a good hospital that won't require a 2-year contract in the ICU. I looked at Henry Ford, which requires 2-yr, and Beaumont Royal Oak is on a hiring freeze. I have over 1 yr experience in combined MSICU. THANKS!

You could try Henry Ford or DMC's hospitals Detroit Receiving or Harper Hospital.

I don't know if DMC's hospitals have a commitment at all. I personally like HFH better.

Did you try to post this in the Michigan forum? You will deffinately get more responses there.

You can also look into Mt.Clemens Regional medical center. Smaller hospital, and I am not sure of their commitment requirements or if they have them at all.
