Hi all!
I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)
Hey guys I have a question. I just finished speaking with a friend of mine that graduated in May, from BC, and she told me to check the accreditation of MDC for nursing because they were placed on probation late last year . Has any of you heard of this?
I don't think MDC is on probation, but anyways BC is my second option 1st MDC. I've heard that Broward Nursing Program is very tough and that the professor aren't that great.
Guys and Girls I think I may have a method of knowing if we are accepted into the program, before the emails start going out. I need more people to test it. Go to your degree audit and select the first option ( Primary declared major), when the audit comes up look in the beginning where it says Program Status... Active... Pgm Admit Statutus: Y.This should be an indication that we are indeed admitted in the first round of emails. I would like to have some of you test this out and see what you get in there. Also I would like to have control subjects that are not yet applying to the program this semester, and have them check to see if they see these parameters. If all is like I theorize we can know ( not a 100%) if we are in!! I guess when you are bored and anxious these things happen... lol
Not sure if this would apply to everyone but when I click on the first option Primary declared degree it takes me Nursing preselect with admit Y but that is just for the part before program not actual program.
Hello all! I am so anxious and excited right now, I check this page everyday lol. I checked my degree audit and it says Active and Y as well. I applied to the Accelerated Program.
By the way, I had only taken a few classes at dade as non degree seeking because I was attending FIU. So I do hope this is a good sign (although they probably changed it to degree seeking after applying). Just staying optimistic and anxiously awaiting thee e-mail.
I was dreaming that I received my acceptance letter and was asking for time off from work to do all the paperworks and vaccines and everything that is required. Less than a week guys and its true what you said yurema that what is meant to be it will be.
That is a good sign, you will see that come next week you and the others here will receive their acceptance letters.
