Miami Dade College Spring 2016 nursing program admission

Updated:   Published

Good morning/night to all who are reading this,

I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade submit their experience they have had so far and also submit any questions they might have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option but would like to hear what others are doing in the part time and generic option. A little about me is that I have a BSN in health science (2014) and have taken all the prerequisites with the exception of A&P 2 (which I am retaking in summer b June 22).

Right now my biggest concern is the hesi a2 exam we have to take and making sure i ace it because my science gpa is not so hot right now. I have read prior posts and it seems like A&P is the most challenging section. Has anyone taken it as yet? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm worried that after they evaluate my degree they might not take my science subjects and make me re do them ? ? . Has any one's transcript been evaluated yet?

I got my fingerprint app for this Wednesday and I am also going to the medical this monday. I have to call my doctor tomorrow to see if can can do my titters I can't believed it yet I am soooo happy. I will also going to medical campus full time generic

Aww guys is anyone going to homestead? :(

Do you guys know the id # for the first aid class?

If you want to take it on campus there is a number you can call if you open the link on the email. However, you can get the certification anywhere

Congratulations everyone! I told you all there was nothing to worry about :D

Definitely start doing all your complio crap asap, leaving it for the last minute is not a good idea because there is always a delay in something.

Thank you all for keeping me up to date I been following this post since it was created. I learn yesterday that people started to get this acceptance letter and I didn't have any emails, it occurred to me to check my spam mail and it was there... I am so exited I was about to go to DADE MEDICAL COLLEGE which is not reginonal accredited. You guys have easy my anxiety through out this time. Thank you all

I'm going to homestead!!

I followed the instructions on the email and I will be going to the campus and pay that $100 to secure my seat. However regarding the background-check and the drug test is it at one place specifically or do I to to any any lab like quest or llabcord and request a 10 panel drug test. Or when I go to the doctor to get my physical do I request thea 10 panel drug test? Can my primary physician do my phisical? If anyone can elaborate on that? Thank you all. I got in with a 83.5 scored also PTK member, Whatever I do not know if that had any influence. I am scared I have heard that is hard but it is hard everywhere I rather try here where is more expensive versus a private school that is more expensive. Hopefully I will meet you all and I will see you all in the Meeting November 19..
