Miami Dade College Nursing Spring 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone,

I thought I'd start this topic for us students applying at MDC Nursing for the Spring 2019 semester. There's an existing one but it's from 2017.

So here's a little about me. I took my Hesi yesterday and I scored 80%. My Science GPA is 3.6. My overall competitive score is 84%. I applied for the Full Time Generic and the Accelerated programs. My preference is full time generic but I can do either one. I feel good about this and I know I will be starting nursing school in January (I don't really know but I'm putting it out there. POSITIVITY!)

I'm really excited about this and I can't wait to start. Worst part is the waiting to find out. In the meantime, I'm looking at all the information necessary post admission so that I'm ready to roll once I get my letter.

Good luck to all who applied!

Hello! I applied for the bridge program! I'm an LPN hoping for the best !!

Hello, I applied for the generic full time program for January 2019. Trying to patiently wait now

Hey! Will you be working while in school?

I think I will have to leave my job and try to work part time. How about yourself?

It depends. If I get accepted into the accelerated program then I probably won't work and take out a loan lol.

Oh okay. Lol Btw do you know how they pick what campus you will attend?

They select the campus by your address!

I'm working full time now but I will quit once I start school. I might find a part time job. Also, if I get the baptist scholarship, I'm required to work weekly shifts starting the 2nd semester.

I would probably do the same if I get accepted into the accelerated program.
