Hi! I plan on applying to the program in June. I am taking my TEAS on April 15 and need to take Microbiology in the Summer. When do you plan on applying?

Hello I was going to apply for fall 2024 but the school is saying I don't meet the requirements for speech & communication even though I already took spc1017

And that I now need Spc2608

Has this happened to anyone else?

I did have to take SPC2608 as a requirement for my bachelors, so I'm guessing it is a requirement for the nursing program. Did you submit a milestone review yet?

Yeah I applied this

Hi.. how did you do on your TEAS exam?

I haven't taken the TEAS yet but from previous posts from other years I've read students with scores mid 70s and up who have gotten in.

Oh OK.. my exam is April 1st. I'm studying now and super nervous about it because I want to apply in June.

Hey Wassup, I did OK I got an 84% on the science section and 81 overall. I spoke to a medical campus advisor and she said that they rarely get applicants with 80's or above so if you can manage to get an 80 or above you should be fine.

Ahhh.. that's such a great score though. What did you use to study??

Best advice

-Practice mental stamina because the English section is what gets most people and that's what got me also. My brain was fried when it got time to do that section and it cost me valuable time because I kept having to reread the questions and sentences.

- The reading section was easy and straightforward forward but some questions will try to trick you and test your critical thinking skills so work on that. Also, read questions before reading passages.

- For science best advice I can give is to make a nurse hub account and use it to study, they make the information easy to take in and remember. Also, get the official ATI TEAS prep app this one is really important because of some the practice questions I had on the app were on the test verbatim so those were freebies. Overall science was easy because thats where I focused most of my studying on, so as long as you properly prepare you'll be fine.

I used nursehub, mometrix and the official ATI TEAS practice tests and app to study.
