Hey guys,
I'm finishing my pre-reqs for starting my ADN so I know I'm a bit away from this, but I have a reason for asking. (:3 ! ) I'm looking for input as to what school would be good to complete a BSN, in terms of reputation and program quality. I know of Miami-Dade College(attending), University of Miami, FIU, Nova, and FAU. Does anyone else have another suggestion for a school that you know is good or will be recognizable? I'd like to be able to narrow down my choices and perhaps discover a viable choice that I didn't know existed. ^_^
(My reason for looking for potential BSN schools is that this fall semester I'm going to be free as I'll be done w/pre-reqs in summer. Though I know this is all speculation based on me passing all classes, passing TEAS, and being accepted. I don't like to waste time this way, and I know that the BSN programs have additional pre-reqs, so I'd like to take them while I'm between my ADN pre-reqs and the beginning of nursing school. )

I'm doing my ADN right now through MDC also, so I can't speak to which school is best for a BSN from personal experience. However, you've got a good head on your shoulders to start your additional pre-reqs! Some that I know are common to multiple schools are Nutrition, Statistics and Psychology, so as you gather additional information on BSN programs, definitely look into knocking those out as you await your entrance into the ADN program.
I wish you lots of success!
