Hey all,
I'm thinking about picking up a NAP at one of the hospitals and was wondering what experiences you all who are NAPs are having? I also wondered if any of you know what the MI unit is at Sunrise. The NAP adverstised for the MI unit doesn't really state any job duties that are specific to the unit and I know its not med surg so any ideas? It's the only one offered right now at Sunrise for adults and I really don't want to work with children.

If I remember correctly from when I had Maternal/Newborn clinicals at Sunrise, they call their postpartum unit Mother/Infant Unit (MIU).
Hope you can find a hospital/unit to NAP for. Being a NAP during nursing school has been the best experience and I am so glad I did it. Good luck in your search.

Thank you. I really don't want to work in maternity or with infants or children but I'm sure I'll find something.
