We as caregivers are a community here on allnurses where we can share our thoughts and feelings, triumphs and tribulations. We identify with one another and there's a connection there. I feel a real connection with several allnurses' members and staff.

Images on a screen can really cause some emotional responses and I'd like to share with you something which happened yesterday on the comic website I frequent that really warmed my heart.

I was reading a webcomic made by an artist/subscriber/virtual friend Oscar Mars which was to be the final episode of a Halloween series. Basically, in the storyline, Oscar Mar's character was about to be accosted by the evil Halloween Pumpkin when he came up with one of his "Basic Ideas", the title of his webcomic:

He invited the evil Halloween Pumpkin to a Christmas feast!

At first I was laughing so hard at the outcome, I neglected to see the participants. Then I recognized every participant as my virtual friends and me who all have a series on the webcomic!

They are, from left to right, The Sage, Yin and Yang, DevilMarsCam, the Halloween Pumpkin and Oscar Mars, A Pair of Pandas, The Larks, Davey Do and Dopey Joe, and Jenn Vicious.

So, " Merry Christmas!" from one another community that I love to another!
