Mercy College Accelerated weekday program Fall 2022

Hi everyone,

I just got notified that I was accepted into the weekday accelerated program for the Fall '22. Wanted to start a thread to other students who may be attending as well so we can help each other in the process or those who are applying and may have questions. :)

Hi, did you receive your schedule yet? I wonder if it’s truly Monday through Friday or if there’s at least one day off. I would like to keep working part time one week day and one weekend day. Considering their weekend program is only three days a week. Thanks! Anna

you make your schedule, you can select from Monday to Friday from classes that are available.

So would you say you get a day or two off during the week of you make your own schedule?

yes, if you get to choose your classes right when they open.

Does anyone know anything about the reference letter process?

 

I’m unsure if I should reach out to my employer for a manual reference, that is written online and then sent to me via email. or if mercy has their own automatic sender.

Hi,

Congratulations on getting in! Would anyone be willing to post their weekday schedule ? With two kids and trying to work part time ( 2 days a week) I want to figure out if it’s doable for me. I’d appreciate very much - Anna

Hi, to be honest with you, I personally decided not to go to Mercy anymore. You choose your classes and your schedule. When I got to select my schedule most of the classes I needed were full and it took almost 1 month for them to reach back to me. By that time I already had gotten accepted to MSV.
