When I spoke with him this week he said he was only reviewing Summer start applicants till 3/31!

That's stupid. I've noticed that that's been a pattern, where everyone gets a different and conflicting answer from the faculty. It's annoying, confusing and just causes more unnecessary anxiety. We just need a straight and consistent answer across the board, no flip-flopping!

Honestly I believe that since its rolling admission, they're just reviewing everyone at the same time. Maybe they are trying to review everyone's application in order of when their start date will be to make it a little more organized, but Everyone is getting accepted at different dates. It's random. I was expecting an answer on the 31st, but I got it today. Whereas some people are still waiting to get accepted for the fall, and other got it way earlier before me! It sounds more like Russian roulette tbh.

Just be patient, be hopeful but keep your mind off of it. Take what they say very loosely, like a rough estimate. You'll know soon enough.

That’s great news! Congratulations! How did they notify you of fall acceptance? Email, portal, phone call, letter?

@anniegrace By phone. He called me at 9am but I didn’t pick up since I don’t pick up random numbers. I thought it was a telemarketer so I declined it and let it go to voicemail. The number is the same as a previous person posted here on the forum: ————————

He left a voicemail saying that I was accepted. Then emailed me that I was accepted a minute later. Then a few hours later the portal changed saying that I was accepted.

I emailed --------------------- asking about my application (for fall2020) and he said they haven’t began reviewing applications for fall and arent doing so until April 30th and I would know by June 30th which is crazy because people already got their acceptance for fall??? They are kind of all over the place

I am not eligible for Fafsa or any scholarship ans its a huge hardship for me to arrrange such funds.

Kindly let me know so I can start my gofundme process with family. LOL

I don’t think it’s that people are getting accepted for Fall just yet. You can get accepted for Summer and defer for Fall semester. Maybe that’s the confusion.

Hi guys! I am applying for the Fall 2020 start for mercy as well. And right now I currently have a 3.06 GPA and a 2.7 prerequisite GPA. Mercy is my first choice and really only choice. And I was wondering if guys think I could get in the school. And also if you guys have any advice to applying to other programs. It would be really helpful! Thank you!
