Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions on how to study for Mental Health. I've managed to pass the first exam, however, I have more of a black and white mind and psychology has a lot of grey areas. Are there any books or guides anyone used to help with this class. All and any help would be appreciated.

That's a tough one... I've got a psych background, and I've never taken an actual mental health nursing course yet. For psych courses, I think a lot of it is common sense, so for me, trusting my intuition can help.
Thank you for your response. Any other suggestions from anyone else?

See if there is a book in the (insert subject here) made incredibly easy series to start. They have ones for most nursing subjects
Thanks will do.

Mental health sucked for us, but that may have been more the teacher. Anyway, I studied by getting RN mental health nursing study books with rationales. I also read our textbook. I would look through her powerpoints but I took it with a grain of salt because I didn't think she updated them very often.
Basically ask former students. Our psych clinical teacher had all 7 students fail the psych class the semester before us. Our psych clinical had all of us barely passing. We were the online class and we were kind of the unloved "stepchildren"
