Will my hair cause any problems?

Hello. I'm s male with very long hair, but there's a reason for it other than vanity. I donate seven inches of my hair to Wigs For Kids every six months. The organization is a non profit who, unlike Locks of Love, does not sell hair for profit. All hair goes to making wigs for children who have either temporarily or permanently lost their hair due to a medical issue.

Will I be allowed to keep my hair in the hospital setting after graduation?

Don't see why not - pull it back neatly and keep it confined, just like the rest of us....good luck in school.

I don't see why there should be a problem. There are lots of female nurses with long hair. Just put it in a bun at the back, i.e. use one or two hair scrunchies to keep your hair together at the back so that your hair is not all over the place. I wear long braids and that's what I do.

I'm in my third year of Nursing College, had my hair down to my shoulders until recently. I found it was grand on placement as long as it's tied back, though of course there'll always be the odd person who doesn't like it.
