Memorial Hermann Summer 2016 Residency

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

She called me and sent me an email for behavioral assessment. She talked about the match day, but I have not yet received an official email. Do you know if she send that after I complete the assessment? Thank you

I received the behavioral assessment before receiving a phone call for match day. So for you, I would assume once you finish the assessment then you'll receive the match day email

I didn't come to this thread until I got a call. I think several people likely did the same

I got the match day phone call but no email about it. Was there an email for match day info?

I received a phone call, then I received a behavior assessment. Then the next day, I received an invitation to match day. Someone asked earlier if we are all going to the same location. We go to the hospital location that called us. Memorial City hardly calls anyone. TMC is the biggest location, therefore, your odds are higher by applying there. I learned my lesson when I never heard from Memorial City in the past.

@ms.simone I'm glad you got the call you were waiting for from MH childrens. Looks like everyone is receiving calls! Congrats everyone!!! Now, we have to focus on preparing for these interviews.

Is anyone familiar with the type of interview questions MH ask?

@Mnurse8 I'm sad to hear that =(. If you don't hear anything by next week, you may want to reach out to both locations or even go to their HR dressed up and let them see your face. What specialties did you want at both locations? Memorial city is a magnet facility, so I have come to the conclusion that they are very picky with their choices. I never heard from them in the past.

That's what I'm wearing. It's not super fancy, but it's nice and professional.

Have 1 offer and waiting to hear back from 2 others. Just decided against Houston all together.

Same here, i am wearing a suit. Is there anyone who chose NICU as their first choice! && i wish I knew what the interview is like so I can prepare more lol
