Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

I don't know for a fact but I don't believe they do... As I have some class mates who still haven't received anything from MH

Nothing from Harris Health. But they're kind of on the slower side lol

Okay! Thank you! They just said they should be calling for interviews around the tenth so.... Yeah lol I never listen to anyone's dates they say though because I've learned it's usually after that haha

I think the dates were 22nd and 29th

Did you guys receive the behavioral assessment email right after the phone call?

I received a phone call, then I received a behavior assessment. Then the next day, I received an invitation to match day. Someone asked earlier if we are all going to the same location. We go to the hospital location that called us. Memorial City hardly calls anyone. TMC is the biggest location, therefore, your odds are higher by applying there. I learned my lesson when I never heard from Memorial City in the past.

@ms.simone I'm glad you got the call you were waiting for from MH childrens. Looks like everyone is receiving calls! Congrats everyone!!! Now, we have to focus on preparing for these interviews.

Is anyone familiar with the type of interview questions MH ask?

Thank you so much!! I hope these interviews go well! But from previous cohorts its seems that it will be a group interview (which I don't know what to expect, I've never had a group interview) and I'm assuming they are behavioral type questions. But idk! And am I correct that we only interview with our #1 specialty choice?

I'm pretty sure that we interview with both our #1 and #2 choices

The lady on the phone said we would be doing one interview! So i believe so

Okay thank you! I guess it confused me when it said, "you will be offered one interview with one service line." But cool, sounds good!!

I was confused about that too. She said that exact thing and

You will have one interview with one service line , but that won't be determined until the day of Match Day.
