Memorial Hermann Summer 2016 Residency

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

GN programs are usually for new nurses who have just graduated and have no experience. A lot of hospitals have them. There is sometimes a classroom portion along with being with a preceptor. It's nice to slowly transition into the hospital.

For MH The woodlands what specialties are y'all interviewing for? I did my behavioral assessment Tuesday and the email said more match day info to come. I haven't gotten any calls tho. I put OR for my choice.

Is Iah the closest airport to the Med center? Or are there any other airports closer in Houston?

I received an email to complete the behavioral assessment. Can anyone tell me if it was timed?

Hobby is the closest I believe...like 13 miles or so away.

Applied ICU for both Sugar Land and Memorial City, no calls and no emails.

Wish could have chosen other locations :(

Same as y'all, haven't heard anything! I could've sworn I saw something on their Facebook about there being 2 match days...I think there was last cohort but I can't remember. But maybe we'll eventually get something [emoji51]

Just out of curiosity, do they give invitations for match day to everyone? It seems as if nearly everyone on this thread has gotten the call
