Specializes in Pediatrics. Has 3 years experience.

Hey! Just got hired at a children's hospital today! :D

When I was in nursing school, I was a student member of NANN and I loved getting the journals every month to read up on stuff. Plus they had lots of other cool perks.

Anyone here a member of a peds nursing association that has a journal or other nice resources? Any recommendations?

I think that is a really good question to ask your unit educator and/or preceptor. There may be a local association that some of the nurses belong to and you might want to get involved with that. Also, there might be particular associations or journals that will relate to you particular sub-specialty of pediatrics (e.g. peds oncology vs peds ED) that you might find particularly helpful in addition to the general pediatric nursing groups/materials.

Congratulations on the new job!
