Try Rock Springs Hospital in Georgetown, TX. Amazing management, very warm, no mechanical restraints (we use CPI), 3 units (detox, mental health, and adolescent mental health).

That's great what you're doing! I've gone through this personally and it got to the point where i couldn't take it anymore and I quit my first nursing job. It was really devastating. I started to feel like my goal was to impress all of those bullies and the moment I questioned nursing as a career, I knew I had to go. They weren't worth that to me. So if I have to by unemployed for another year, so be it. I'll find the right fit!

Here are a few that I thought were nice:

It isn't big to make make others feel small!

Take a Stand! Lend a Hand.

    Help don't Hurt!

    Don't Hate! Congratulate!

GOOD LUCK! I hope this helped.

Yes, she said she really liked it, so on her interview she told them she wanted to work there again. She was offered nights. When did they call you? Also, did they let you choose a start date or did they assign you one?

I have a friend who was also offered a position on that floor! She did the summer internship program there last summer and said she really like that unit. I told them my preference was pediatrics, but that I was not opposed to adults as well.
I told them the same, I said pedi but I'm pretty sure everyone wants pedi! and they were like YES! and so then I told them that I'm open to anything. I hope y'all all get calls back! so your friend liked that unit? im not really sure what to expect but im reaaaaaallllllly excited!

Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it. Have you heard if anyone has received emails, or how quick are they to send emails out after the panel interview?

I had my panel interviewed via webcam, out of state two weeks ago. I called HR Friday and was told they were finalizing positions within different departments, trying to finish up paper work, and were hoping to call with offers at the beginning of the week. I still haven't heard back from anyone, call or email. Has anyone received offer calls or rejection emails yet?
i called someone yesterday and she said she sent my offer into the manager for approval and that she'd call me yesterday or today depending on when they send it back. im hoping to hear from them soon! i've been hearing that they sometimes take a while to get back with people, sit tight! (:

    Hey Guys and Gals!

I was wondering if any of you have been through the Residency program at MD Anderson. I have many questions so feel free to tell me any information you feel comfortable sharing with us. How did you like it there? Did you find it difficult to transition from student nurse to registered nurse? What floor(s) were you on? What were you offered salary-wise? How do they treat baby nurses? The list of questions can go on foreverrrrr. I am so curious to know about MD.

    Just tell me EVERYTHING!
