Im not putting anyone at fault for it. I actually totally agree with it. I was just expressing what I heard most of my class complain about when renewal time approached. I understand 100% with the reasoning of hospitals and schools requiring the annu...
  2. Dcccd 2006

  11. Are nursing students allowed to give IV push meds?

I'm in Texas in an ADN/RN school in my last semester. NO to IV push meds-ever is the rule I've had to follow. Saline push is allowed. We are not allowed to touch central lines. Again, this varies state to sate, school to school, and hospital to hospi...
  12. I AM! I'm a Brookhaven senior. No GPA contest, no long waiting list. I know I can't mention any names here, but all I will say is that our school is the best ADN program I know of in DFW. I'm a little biased...hehe
  13. Wow. I feel so fortunate after reading these horror stories. Med calc was easy. Miss no more than 3. Retries were accepted. Clinicals have been a wonderful experience. They dont even care if your shoes are white or not. We wear green scrubs with our...
  14. Pinning Ceremony- NEED HELP

Hi all! I need help with my pinning ceremony. I am in a class of 28 that graduate this December and the faculty left the ceremony entirely up to a handful of students. We have a general idea of what to do and what needs to be done, but other that--w...
