Just wondering if you have any opinions in which would be a better hospital to work at for new grads...Pinnacle Health V.S. Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Thanks!
For the class that started Fall 2006, the cut-off score was 5.94??? or something around there. There are 7 points total... 1pt for Net Math, 1pt for NetReading, 1pt for essay, and 4pts for your GPA. So basically a student applying for Fall of last...
It's always worth a try to apply to ASU. The cut off score for ASU FALL 2006 was a 5.969. Some people had 3.2 GPA's and were admitted. They just received great scores on their NET exams and essay. For example, in one scenario, someone had a 3.2 G...

If you plan on getting your BSN make sure you check if Maric's credits are transferrable to that school. My sister graduated from Maric's LVN program and she had to retake a lot of classes over because the RN programs that she is applying to won't a...
I heard that ASU also looks at your penmanship of the essay portion. Do you think that it can affect a person's score? Someone told me that the essay question involved describing what nursing meant to you and how your past experiences will help you...

The thing is is that since it is through ASU, you have to meet all of ASU's requirements (take their required pre-reqs, the NET test, and their essay...) and hopefully get at least 5.8 pts out of 7pts total (your GPA...4.0 being the highest...1pt for...
oh yeah, they pay for books, fees, tuition, etc...but then you have a contract with them for three years... I find the schedule very flexible, especially for parents (night classes, weekend clinicals).
Did anyone hear about ASU's new Banner option for Spring 2006. Banner decided at the last minute to offer a BSN program at ASU East, classes held at night, clinicals on the weekends...16month accelerated program.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe that for the Spring 2006 program, they have increased the enrollment class to 160 as opposed to the 130 last year. I do agree that the number of students should be increased!
FutureRNinAZ, Well, basically what you need to do is have 13 prerequisite courses submitted by the deadline. For example, if you want to apply to Spring 2006 (starting January 2006), you need to have all 13 pre-reqs grades submitted by August 15, 2...
