OMG congrats!! I try every year but still waiting for some luck!
I know, that's the problem..
best wishes for you, you can do it
thanks, this thread helped me a lot. I'm very sad cos seems so difficult to get a license in California since I dont have a SSN or a Green Card and some days I just think to give up, but then I say to myself "if others can do it, you can do it". I need to be focused and never give up!!!!
I'm Italian and I'm trying to apply to get a license in California. I called the CA-BON and they told me having a SSN is mandatory and there's no way to apply without a SSN. Now, I can't have a SSN if I'm not a US citizen or have a working visa, does anybody know how to get one from Europe?
hey, how can you apply without a social security number?
hey, I can't send you a message here but I really need to talk to someone who could help me getting my license!
I'm in LA and I really need to talk to someone and figure out how to get a licence here..
thanks for your reply!
Please I need help!
This application for licensure by examination's driving me nuts!
I'm italian and I need to apply for licensure in California. The CA BON requires the transcripts to be forwarded directly from the university, and I need to understand EXACTLY what the university should send to the CA BON.
I did my last academic year in Spain with the Erasmus program. Now, the period I spent abroad was already recognized by my university, do I need the transcripts from the spanish university too?
Thanks everyone for your quick answers!!!!!
Hey there! I'm new here and I hope I'm in the right section!
I've been to LA this summer and I asked how to apply for a job there. They told me I needed at least one year experience working in a hospital; I graduated on March and I'm actually working in ICU. Now, my contract will be over on October 2013 and I really hope I can move to California at the beginning of 2014, so I'm trying to figure out which is the best way to get a job and a working visa. I'm italian and I know for sure I've got to pass a few exams for my license, but how does it work? do I need a sponsor to get a visa?
Which is the best, seeking for a job while I'm in the USA or searching for a sponsor and then come back to Cali?
It's all so confused and I really don't know where to start! I know the whole process takes a while and I wanna be ready
