How did everything go?
Yes they have a website..... I actually just took my hesi yesterday and passed (,thank God)
I went and visited the new chamberlain college bsn program in troy I want to know if anyone currently attends? They had there first class to start Jan2015
So Im talking to this guy and he is a stockkeeper at a hospital and he said the dreaded words "LPN'S are being phased out" ugh! It bothers me that most people who make these comments aren't even in the nursing a profession. Sorry guys but I had to vent! Its soooo annoying
UPDATE: This is my 2nd week in orientation and its beginning to grow on me. I feel alot more confident and today I actually got my own cart for 2pm med pass. The next phase I will be working on is getting the paperwork done. Medicare charting, calling the doctor, faxing orders, writing orders etc. Im glad I stuck in there bc I was about to leave lol
I took nclex 3/14 started new job 3/24 Im in orientation and I feel so overwhelmed 24 patients and everything in manual. The nursing must answer the phones, chart, do orders, admissions, order labs etc. I feel sooo overwhelming. I often thought about not coming back HELP
I graduated Dec 19 took boards March14 start job Monday March 24. I am so nervous I was offered the job on the spot and the adon says "a med pass is a med pass is a med pass" then says orientation is 5 days. Honestly I believe I can do this although I feel pressure but I need tips, advice etc!!!
Congratulations on passing! Good for you! I'm wondering however, what were your study methods?
So happy for you..I been review all my ATI for PN ,and ncsbn 3 weeks. I just hope all my hard work pays off this month also. Everyone said they thought that ATI prepared them well. And don't go there thinking I will know everything. If I get confused ...think how can I help this patient...how can I make this patient stay..Congratulations to you and good luck . How did you think the test was? I live in the state of Ohio. Was it very hard , or just relax and read , reread because we learn a lot of stuff in school over the year long program with ATI.
Congratulations! All that hard work paying off!
