  1. NCLEX one year after graduation

If you don't mind me asking, was there a reason for your delay? Others have cited burnout and relocation, wondering if you are similar? I would put myself in the burned out/needed a break category, as well.
  2. NCLEX one year after graduation

I will consider myself an honorary member of this group, as a 37-year-old. Married, with undergraduate study in the performing arts but professional experience in business. I've loved my work but eventually no longer felt challenged, so decided on ...
  8. negativity in nursing school

Ah! Thanks, folks, for helping me to realize that this isn't exclusive to me - though I agree it is their problem, not mine. The fact that they are so vocal makes it hard to remember that sometimes. And I think what compounds it is the fact we are a...
  9. negativity in nursing school

Am I the only one, or do others experience a high level of negativity among their fellow students? Talking smack about the professors (who are all professional and friendly, though they don't all teach the same way), talking smack about the administr...
