  1. Certified Medical Assistant?

That is a lot of money! Why do those tech schools cost so much? My local community college has a medical assistant classes and you leave being qualified for a job, but it's not accredited, so how does that work? What's the difference between accredi...
  2. Certified Medical Assistant?

Did you go to one of those tech school colleges? Like Everest? I heard not to go there because it's so expensive!?
  3. Certified Medical Assistant?

Hahaha my bad. I am not looking to go into nursing, I am looking into getting a job that will pay for some school, while I get some hours and experience regardless of how big it is, to further my medical profession after my bachelors. (Medical School...
  4. Certified Medical Assistant?

I had questions about nursing a few months ago, now I have questions on becoming a medical assistant. First off, do they have accredited colleges that handle MA's or are they all the same?
  5. Different levels of nursing?

Another question. Do they have programs where I can follow nurses around and see what they do? I know all this HIPAA privacy could prevent that?
  6. Different levels of nursing?

  11. Different levels of nursing?

Urine and poop wouldn't be a problem. I am also thinking of being a lab tech assistant, and those deal with those and I wouldn't have a problem. Vomit isn't a problem either, I'm just saying, if I had a choice, I wouldn't want to work with that stuff...
  12. Different levels of nursing?

I'm sure I can handle it, I just don't want to have to look at it and deal with it on the job everyday. Or is there no way around it?
  13. Different levels of nursing?

Thanks for the information! Where would someone work if they don't want to work in a hospital and see all the nasty bodily fluids? Do LVNs work in doctor offices? What other specialities of nursing don't have to see nasty fluids like that?
  14. Where do LVNs work?

Oh yeah, and where is a place to work where I won't have to encounter all that stuff I mentioned above?
  15. Where do LVNs work?

Can they work in doctor offices? I feel like I want to be a nurse of some sorts, but I do not want to have to deal with all the nasty bodily fluids (more than just poop and urine) and I don't want to have to give people baths or help them change. Do...
