   Know your meds, what they are and WHY you are giving them. My instructor always asked us that. Know peak times for insulins. And round on your patients frequently.

   Tell them you like to be part of a team and teamwork is a high priority to you (hoping that it is). Thats what my managers always like to hear when hiring. Multi-tasker, fast and eager learner.

   I have some print tops and some solid tops. I prefer the Koi brand scrubs. They are a little expensive but soft and worth it.

    Try Alegrias. They dont look like typical nursing shoes. I wear mine with regualr clothing even on my days off because they are cute and comfotable.

12. How Can I become Stroke Nurse Certified?

    We are a stroke center and on my floor we all have to be certified in stroke education and protocol. Like the post above said the AHA has the course.
