I am pretty interested in the Spanish, but I am in the three-year program. I'm going to ask if I can join. I think I would be low priority though if it's a popular class.
The test doesn't count. The professor said it is just a way for PBISON to gauge if it is effective. Hey KEM are you in dev. psych online? I think we're in it together.
I'd like to go, but have a previous appointment. Would anyone mind sharing any crucial information here?
Karpas review classes are at the school, yes?
Does anyone know what orientation is all about? Is it all day both days or what?
Also -- any information on the CPR classes? When? Where? Or do we just set it up for ourselves?
I am going to do a combination. I can get one of my A&P books much cheaper online. But the other is a brand new edition so I'll just get it at the store if a search doesn't turn up a better price. Expensive!
I am doing the Chem review too. We need a signal to recognize each other
Do any of you know if the CPR class is scheduled yet? I think BI offers one at minimal cost and I'm just wondering when they are going to squeeze this in or if we just go take one on our own or ...?
Arh -- so much paperwork! I'm terrible with paperwork. Did you all get that Health Assessment email? So much to do.
I think I will take the chem too. It's definitely my weak point.
Hi guys! I hope everyone is doing great. I wanted to let you all know that if you need Developmental Psychology, there is an online class with lots of seats at Herkimer Community College. The course is SS 152 (*********** provided the information, so it's definitely acceptable.) The only catch is that Herkimer's online registration is down for awhile, but you can still apply for admission online then save yourself a spot through the registrar's office.
There are also a few seats open for the Ethics class at Finger Lakes. I can't decide if I should take two summer courses or not.
I also couldn't find an open nutrition course. I guess we'll be taking that one at PBISON.
HI everyone -- It finally happened! I was admitted last week. Now I'm seesawing between happiness and panic. I'm doing the three year plan. All pre-reqs the first year, then the two-year nursing course after that. I'd like to take one or two classes this summer if I can get into any. I saw some start in July at Finger Lakes and probably other SUNYs. Anyone else going to try to do Psych or ethics in July?
The long list of expectations for candidates? I signed that too.
Alright Vintagedoll! Relax and have fun. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Your accomplishments and obstacles and why you want to be a nurse. Good luck!
