  2. Anyone on the East Coast have a BSN from WGU?

Sorry, I guess I misunderstood. Benegesserit is right, I did the RN-BSN program. I can't give you any insight into the prelicensure program, except that it is limited to certain states.
  3. Anyone on the East Coast have a BSN from WGU?

I did not, my ADN is from a local CC. I had no problems getting into the program, and was able to start the month I wanted, though I know some people have to wait. I had 12 courses/34 credits to complete, and it took me about 9 months/roughly $5000. ...
  4. Anyone on the East Coast have a BSN from WGU?

I loved my WGU experience. I worked full time nights and roughly one extra shift a week at my per diem. My mentor was only an email or call away if I needed anything, and although I don't plan on furthering my education through school (I'm planning o...
  5. Problems after brain surgery

We cannot give medical advice, it's against the Terms of Service. However, if you feel something is not right, give your surgeon a call. Better to notify them and have it be nothing, than to leave it and have it be something.
  6. Help me understand an Ampule

I've never had the medication spill when inverting an ampule, surface tension keeps it from leaking out. You just wouldn't inject air into the inverted ampule like you do with stoppered vials. You also want to be sure not totouch the needle to the ri...
  7. Albumin administration rate and IV tubing

We used to run it in by gravity, and pharmacy bundled it with specific tubing with the filter built in. Took roughly 30 minutes to infuse. Now we run it through the pump, with regular pump tubing and a filtered extension set. We are to run it over an...
  8. Anyone on the East Coast have a BSN from WGU?

I do!! I'm in NH, my mentor was from one of the Carolinas I think, and my mentor for Community Health was also from NH. No one I work with had heard of it before I started, but now I have several coworkers looking into the program. One of the manage...
  9. WGU RN-BSN in 6 months

Full time students are required to finish 12 credits per term, which would usually be 4 courses. Every student is assigned a mentor who is the person who unlocks/opens each course for you. Every mentor has a different method; mine had a planned order...
  10. WGU RN-BSN in 6 months

WGU is non-profit. There are two community courses, the first in which you do research about your community demographics, giving you 25 hours of field experience, and the second course uses that research and has you conduct interviews with stakeholde...
  11. WGU homework type

I didn't really have what I would call homework. I did have multiple papers amd tests that were required to pass the courses. There are no journal entries or discussion board posts. Some classes, all I had to do was pass a test to complete the cours...
  12. I want to complete the RN to BSN program in 1 term

I'm going to jump in with my experience: I finished the RN-BSN program with 34 credits in 9 months. After completing my first 4 courses in a little over a month, which included health assessment, biochem, care of the older adult, and nutrition, my me...
  13. Community 228 Class WGU

There is an ATI study guide under the course search. Thats what I used and got a 3 on it.
  14. How to determine JP drainage color

    I thought sanguinous meant bloody?
  15. It's hard to say if the papers and tests are hard, because it depends on what you know and how you learn. The BSN program does not require a capstone, but you do get to put together a portfolio.
