    I think not. I know nurses who have never practiced, but keep their licenses on stand by
  2. Only listen to positive feedback.... New grads are not dumb, and they all had to learn the ropes, quite frankly new grads do things initially by the book, like it should be done to CYA! Just be the best nurse you can be, it will pay off...

    Keep your head up and God bless with everything... That sounds strange being that you were using the good nursing judgement that they tell us to use. And there was already an existing order. My facility lets us do everything almost.

    I believe it helps. I was hired right in just a couple weeks after graduation even before I took my boards. And I noticed that only the graduates that were Cna's first have jobs currently.

    It asked algebra and basic math questions, science, chemistry, reading and writing, pretty much a little bit of everything. I actually had a teas test prep book, I just worked the practice test inside and passed!

  12. Just finished Norfolk tech center (vo tech) 18 month program, follows public school schedule the first half of program, only $8400 excepts financial aid....passed my boards this week! Good luck
