   When did you apply to HFCC? I am on the waitlist at Schoolcraft and when I inquired at HFCC they told me 3 years.

   FYI to Schoolcraft RN wannabe's -- I applied two weeks ago and received a letter that I am in for Fall 2013 and an alternate for 2012. . . . So discouraging!! I also called HFCC and the waitlist there is a minimum of 3 years as of February 2010!! ...

   They will not give you an exact number, but will give you an idea where you are at on the list. They do not want to be held to any given quote, perhaps because the list does change so quickly, with people accepting spots at other schools, etc. . . ....

   Your right -- it is very discouraging!! That's why I try to focus on the fact that it probably won't take as long as they tell you. Did you take your TEAS at Schoolcraft? Any pointers? I am scheduled to take mine in Jan.

   I was just with my counselor last Friday and she confirmed the waiting list is for 2013 already. Obviously this doesn't mean it will take that long (hopefully!) From the sounds of things, it moves a little quicker than what we might think.
