   When using nebulized Morphine you have to ask the pharmacy if it is premixed, as our pharmacy compounds, it changes the metabolized effects.

   My hospice uses the FLACC scale. It is very simple & concrete. You could educate your families on determinging their loved ones pain easily. Google it, you will find the criteria sheet. I will try & post ours later.

   I believe its a federal regulation that states the facility may have emergent kits but once accessed the physician must be notified/thus yes needing an additional order.
