Currently work as an Enrolled Nurse, specialising in Aged, Dementia and Palliative Care. Just completed study for my Registered Nurse qualifications, and am waiting on finalisation of my Registration. Will be starting my TPPP (graduate year) in a completely new environment - I am excited, scared and nervous about this new transition, but can't wait to start this new chapter of my career.

    Don't be too tough on yourself - you are reflecting on your practice and this is what any good nurse should do. We all make mistakes, the difference is in how it is handled. Negligent and incompetent is the nurse who covers up their mistake or blames...

    Best of luck with your Aged Care Lex... TAFE is a great place to learn! If you are looking at doing EN those subjects should really help.. takes out quite a large involved chunk of work.. especially the Aboriginal, Communications, and Law and Ethics ...

    Hiya. Yet another student here.. 1 semester into 18mth EN degree through TAFE in Renmark. Coming up to doing medications, aged care placements, Acute Nursing and Mental Health so this should be an interesting semester. I am so glad I found this site...
