   I just graduated as well with Future Nurse 2011 and LIU graduates are wanted by hospitals!!! Best of luck to you guys and study hard! It's not easy but it's so worth it in the end!

   I also agree with the other members. Just try to ace your other courses so you would not have to retake chemistry. remember that it is really competitive out there for nursing so just try and keep your GPA high.

10. Did any of you accelerated BSN folks have a not-so-great GPA in your first major?

    Yes believe it and you will achieve it. I had a 3.3 but I did great it my pre-reqs which is what I believe you should do to bring your gpa up. It will take some time but once you are focused on your goal, you will make it.

    OoOoOo good luck!!! I remember when I had to take my pre-reqs. I highly recommend you start being organized from the get go because it will help you later on in upper level courses!!

    I would recommend going for the RN, along with the other people posting. You show the drive and dedication and I believe you will make it no matter how long you have to wait. Good luck!!!

    I was lucky to get a scholarship to help pay for LIU because tuition is crazy!
