   I really appreciated my in-class experiences. It felt like school because, well, it was school. Personally, I could not have grasped the material and had the dialog with professionals 'in the trenches' online.

   I know Drexel has a pretty good program. From what I heard, Wash U has a great program without the need for GREs.

   Just as an FYI, Penn's program is 13 months full time and you do not have to go and find your own preceptors.

   I attended Penn's program and we had a heavy emphasis on psychotherapy, particularly CBT. When speaking with some other fellow psych NPs, it sounds like we had a lot more than other schools out in the Northwest.

    I was under the assumption that you sign up for one of 5 specialties. If selected, you complete one year in med-surg, for example, before going to your specialty school. Is this true?
