   check out long term care... i know a lot of people are not that into this field of nursing... but there are jobs there...their ads actually say "new grads welcomed to apply". A lot of hospitals are not willing to hire new grads bc they do not want to...

   you can go to booksprice.com and type in the name or isbn of the book you need...and it will look up the prices of that book from various websites...it's pretty convenient :-) p.s. i ALWAYS buy my books online... the bookstore is such a ripoff!

   amazon.com half.com barnesandnoble.com i bought ALL MY BOOKS online and saved a lot of $$$$...my profs kept telling us to buy the books in a "bundle" our bookstore provided ( it cost 400-500 dollars)...go online it's way better. you will probably use...

    i happened to love fundamentals success...i didn't use it on the first two tests of nursing school in my first semester...but i did use it on my third and fourth tests and i got A's!...all of the "success" books are very helpful for question taking.....

    get a review book specific for maternity, it really helps...the books are usually small and come with cd's with tons of q&a... prentice hall has a good one, straight a's has one too.
