   Thanks for all the responses. So far I've landed 2 interviews in psych - but they're not sure when the positions will be actually open, because of the financial reasons. We shall see.

   Yes, looked into AORN web site (I am a member). Pretty much everybody requires experience, but I was able to find (very few) places.

    Linda, believe or not, there are not that many hospitals that are willing to spend thousands of $$$ and six months to train a new nursing graduate in the OR - the economy is quite tough. Many places cancelled their programs. I know that, because I DO...

    Linda, no hospital will hire an RN as a surgical tech. At least in Pennsylvania.

    The state facility is pretty bad, I had my clinicals over there. If I can't find anything else...

    I already spoke to them. They require citizenship (I don't have it), and BSN (I'll have associate, and my degree from another field does not help). VA or any government job is out as well.
