I'd like to thank all you guys for your positiveness and encouragement. I guess when I think about it, even though I did well on the practice tests, and knew alot of info, I feel like I guessed at quite a bit of the questions, knew some right off the bat, but seemed to be losing my concentration near the end as I was getting tired due to 265...I guess if I was guessing wrong on alot of them, it would have clicked off earlier than it did, right? Maybe there is still hope...i might find out roday...

Zonacards, I feel the exact same way you do...if I got a question yesterday on the exam and it had 4 different lab values out of their respective ranges, I picked the lab value that would morst hurt the pt. Some were extremely high, so then I picked the extreme lab. I feel that Saunders , Kaplan, Lippencott all gave 3 almost throw right out answers, and usually on the practice testing I could even narrow questions down to two, but yesterday was absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so disappointed right now...I have a empty feeling in my heart!!!

I had a 3.5 GPA all during nursing school. I took the Kaplan Q bank questions and scored between 58 and 72 on those and felt like I knew my stuff. I walked into KPearson with a + attitude, sat down, ended up taking all 265 questions in 3 hours and walked out crying so hard, I couldn't see to drive!! I took the ATI tests in school and did very well on those, and felt this test was way harder than those. Kaplan was somewhat easy too. I really felt like I guessed at way too many of the NCLEX exam questions...I feel in my heart that I did not pass. My husband said that if I was doing that badly, it would have clicked off way before 265, but if it went all the way to 265, obviously it could not make it's mind up about my proficiency...I am so sad today my heart hurts...any insight as to any of my concerns above? Please help me to understand...I appreciate it!!!!

I was curious what type of questions everyone that took it once, twice or more you had on their exam? I had alot of prioritization (which pt should the nurse see first), one delegation, many infection control, alot of pharmacology, a few lab values to choose which showed a problem, but I did not have one math calculation, not one SATA, no pulldowns or click on the picture...they were all multiple choice!! What does it mean to have none of those kinds of questions? I heard that if you had alot of SATA you were doing very well. Each time you take the test, is it different? If you have alot of pharm on one, then next time you take it is there not alot of Pharm?? Also, I heard from someone that his wife took the NCLEX 6 times and they found a special tutor that has access to how you did exactly on the boards and will teach you what you didn't know, but it costs about $1000 to do it. Has anyone heard of such a thing?
