  8. Would I be considered a "difficult patient?"

What would happen if you came into the hospital to deliver, we went along with you birth plan, but during your labor the baby was having late decels, not noticed, because of the fact we aren't permitted to provide continuous monitoring, and then you ...
  9. Would I be considered a "difficult patient?"

  13. What's your protocol immeadiately after birth?

In the unit in which I worked as soon as baby comes, she is put up on moms chest before the cord is cut. Dad or the coach can cut the cord, the nurse dries baby off while on moms chest. If baby is not well it is immediately taken to the warmer and ...

Make sure you make the point that you realize this a a very high risk area and yyou understand how important it is to pay close attention to your patient and that you aren't afraid to ask for help if you need it. Also point out that you are new and ...
  15. # allowed in delivery

We allow two support people in the room with Mom. The same two people are to stay, it isn't a switch on and off thing. It doesn't work though. The visitors do not comply and usually the initial nurse caring for the patient does not enforce, which...
