  4. Started Nursing and went MIA

Wow, I feel like I'm the only one here on the opposite side - I will never give up my friends. They are the only thing that keeps me going and even throughout this insanely busy program I'm in right now, I've only turned down a friend once. It means ...
  5. Best area to learn the most?

Hi everyone. At my school we get to pick an area to work in for our last clinical experience. We have all sorts of options (ER, ICUs, other critical care areas, community, labor/delivery, oncology, cardiac, neuro, psych...), but I am having trouble d...

I feel absolutely sick. Am I horrible for being grateful in my belief that karma will one day come back around to that daughter??
  7. Can't find a cosigner...

  11. An apology

no, i did not write the desiderata poem/whatever you want to call it in my previous post. it's something that is hanging on my wall, that was given to me as a gift. it is one of those calligraphy reprints and states no author, but if you search "desi...
  12. An apology

i saw this thread and decided to see what the apology was for; i couldn't even finish reading all of that thread - so many nasty, thoughtless things said! (oh, and i am not saying that to blame anyone or to start an argument - just more or less stati...
  13. Best organization tools for new students coming in?

Yes, you can take notes on anything you can print. What you do is select what you want to print (there is even a "clip it" function so you can select absolutely anything on the screen) and instead of going to your printer, it sends it to OneNote. Onc...
  14. I didn't make it in =(

Things will work out for the best in the end. I didn't get in the first time either, but now I'm in a better program than the ones I applied to in the first place. You'll end up exactly where you're supposed to be, it's just that it's hard to see tha...

Microsoft OneNote is absolutely wonderful for keeping notes neat and organized. I just bring my laptop to class. No more messy papers to search through!
