   hi! i',m an rn as well and i just started working here in north jersey ltc, sub-acute unit. starting rate in my facility for rn is $26 plus 1.75/hr if you'll be assigned in sub-acute.

   exactly! but as i've said, i'm left with no other option but to work for them bec of the contract that i signed. i'll just think of it more like of a volunteer job so I won't be depressed.thanks for the info though.i appreciate it a lot! :)

   know what sucks? the immigration lawyer who's handling me told me just now that it's not 25.6 but 24/hr and i have to work 40hours/week.. huhuhu...have no choice now coz i signed a 3 year contract with the facility in the year 2006. guess i'm doomed....

   Hi! Does anybody know how much the starting rate for BSN RN's here in North Jersey? A nursing home sponsored my coming here in the US and now that I have my license, I'm all set to work.They are giving me 25.6/hr only.
