   I'll tell you what- if I'm going to use the title Doctor, then I'm going to med school so that I can have ALL of the power and Authority that comes with the title, and none of the controversy.

   I once worked at a hospital in austin Texas that did that, and was promptly told that it was my responsibility to check the schedule every night I worked as they would and could change it at their discretion. I got another job.

   that is wonderful!! One of the ways I learned (and am still learning because in Nursing there is ALWAYS something new to learn) is by reading and observing. Sound like you are on the right track.
